Letter from the President
College is a monumental transition and a leap of faith for any young woman. It is full of challenges, mistakes, joys, friendships, successes, and failures. It is truly where you begin to find who you are and mold yourself into who you want to be. Joining Kappa Kappa Gamma has given me the most incredible opportunity to find lifelong friends, future bridesmaids, and women who inspire me daily. Being a member of my chapter has shaped me into the strong and confident woman I always wanted to be and knew I could become. Kappa teaches you how to love yourself as well as love and support others as equals. I was able to find women who encouraged me to do better, be better, and work hard all the time. A sorority is a home away from home, a sanctuary, and a way to learn how to be yourself.
I am so incredibly humbled and honored to represent the most diverse, well-rounded, and ambitious group of women. These women empower me, make me laugh, and make me realize there’s nothing a little bit of ice cream won’t fix. One of the most valuable experiences I have gained from being in a sorority is seeing the effects of true sisterhood in each other’s lives. The unconditional love and support not only shapes us during our college days, but will continue to enrich our lives long after we have left our legacy. The strength of sisterhood within our chapter not only fills our hearts but spills over into the campus and surrounding community. Kappa Kappa Gamma is an incredible organization that fosters friendship, leadership, academic importance, as well as community involvement. Through my personal experience, I have created unforgettable memories and bonds I will cherish forever. I am so thankful to be a small piece of the puzzle that binds us all together.
I encourage you to explore our website to see all of the amazing opportunities our chapter has to offer. From all of us at the Gamma Zeta Chapter, we are grateful to be a part of the University of Arizona and the Tucson community.
